If you’ve been watching us closely, you may have noticed that we quietly launched our Winter ‘24 quarterly on Christmas Eve, available to read in full here.
The theme, caregiving, is one near and dear to my heart, and also, it follows, to the many folks who submitted their work for inclusion. (Thank you, if that was you!) It’s complex, it’s wearisome, it’s life-giving and also, more often than not, (for me) emotionally confusing. Like, there are so many conflicting feelings competing for dominance that you can end up in the realm of incoherence when you try to explain it in any explicit way.
In these instances, a less-is-more mosaic felt the most cogent and, maybe, the most reverent, way to belly-up at the subject.
So. Please enjoy. Cozy up, read a piece, and then come back for another one, because these fragments will leave you thinking — and feeling.
xoxo,
M
P.S. look for a new call for submissions to come out soon!
